January 12 was the 7th birthday of a very special little girl. I baked a cake-strawberry with whipped strawberry frosting and we sang Happy Birthday to a sweetie far away in an Eastern European institution
I follow your blog as well as several others and we are connected in a big way! We also have a special place in our hearts for Miss C. When we began our adoption journey months ago, my husband told me that he would love to bring her home as our daughter. She can melt you with that face, can't she? We are mid-home study and working with an agency. Things are moving slowly - which I hate because of my impatience. But - God has His plan. It is not mine. We do know that we will adopt one or two special needs children from the Ukraine. We are praying every day for all of the children in Torez. Who knows? If God is willing, we may add Miss C.
