Have Home Studies BUT . . .

I was busy enrolling kids in school, cleaning, gardening and forgot to go to the mail box until just a few minutes ago. Well, inside was a big white envelope with 3 official copies of our home study enclosed. These Hague home studies are way more involved than even what was required for Ukraine--we're talking 14 pages of documentation plus notarized signatures of both our case worker and the director of our adoption agency.

Unfortunately all 3 copies have an apparent mistake. One notary wrote that her commission expires 1-14-2010. OOPS! That date has already passed, hasn't it??!!


Later note: The year was actually supposed to be 2011 so the copy for our dossier will have to be re-done.
